Designed for all skill levels, whether you are new to the creative process or an experienced artist, there is always something to learn.

Our program features cross-ice action, in line with the Long Term Player Development Model by Sport Canada, embraced by Hockey Canada and Hockey Manitoba. This approach emphasizes skill development while maximizing enjoyment!
Join us for a fantastic opportunity for kids to enhance their skills, stay active, and have a great time on the ice!
Open to kids not registered in a Hockey MB or Ringette MB program.
Information & Requirements
Equipment: Helmet with mask, neck protector, gloves, shin pads, elbow pads and hockey stick.
Helmet: Everyone on the ice MUST wear a helmet.

Level 1
Is your child excited to learn how to skate? Join our beginner skating class, tailored specifically for brand-new skaters!
In this fun and supportive environment, your child will develop essential skills, including balance and posture for safe skating, techniques for falling and getting up, and basic movements like turning and jumping to build confidence on the ice. Sign up now and watch your child gain confidence and have a blast on the ice!
Information & Requirements:
Participants must be 3 years old by the beginning of the course. Children who are 3 or 4 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with basic skating ability.
A CSA approved helmet is mandatory for both parents and children

Level 2
Ready to elevate your child’s skating skills? Our Level 2 skating class is ideal for those who have completed Level 1 or can confidently stand and move forward on the ice.
In this class, your child will build on their basic movement skills with forward gliding, explore new directions through backward skating, and learn safe and effective stopping techniques.
Join us to help your child gain confidence and advance their skating abilities!
Prerequisites:
Completion of Level 1 or ability to stand and move forward independently on the ice.
Information & Requirements:
Participants must be 3 years old by the beginning of the course.
A CSA (Canadian Standards Association) approved helmet is required for the child.

Get ready for a fantastic adventure!
Our Before and After School Recreation Program offers an enriching experience for children that combines physical activity, exploration of the great outdoors, and community engagement. Kids will enjoy a variety of fun physical activities to stay healthy and active, explore natural settings to spark a love for nature, and take part in community projects that build responsibility and a sense of belonging.
Starting back up in September, the program runs Monday to Friday throughout the school year.
